THIS WEEK'S TUESDAY TIP OFF IS .... LAVENDER!!

Lavender or Lavandula angustifolia has been used and cherished for centuries for its unmistakable aroma and myriad benefits.

 In ancient times, the Egyptians and Romans used Lavender for bathing, relaxation, cooking, and as a perfume. However its calming and relaxing qualities continue to be Lavender’s most notable attributes.

💜Add to bath water, apply to the temples/back of neck and diffuse for relaxation.

💜Add a few drops of Lavender to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet to relax and prepare for a restful night’s sleep.

💜Freshen your linen closet, mattress, car, or the air by combining Lavender with water in a spray bottle.

💜Use in cooking to soften citrus flavors and add a flavorful twist to marinades, baked goods, and desserts.

💜Dilute with a carrier oil and apply topically to minimize any skin sensitivity, irritations and reduce the appearance of skin imperfections.

💜And my FAVOURITE USE, Add 1 drop of lavender essential oil to a NEW tube of mascara. I really like this idea because mascaras are a breeding ground for bacteria. By adding a drop of lavender which is antibacterial and anti parasitic, you can cut way back on the amount of yuck that you are putting on your lashes!
